About Page HeadingPrayer Shawl Ministry Several women in the congregation knit prayer shawls for those who are hospitalized or ill at home. Knitters are always needed. For more information contact Director of Lay Ministries Cheryl Ward.
Senior Visitation Ministry Youth group members and children regularly visit older members of the congregation. Those being visited receive the benefit of interaction with children and youth, and the youth and children get the chance to experience ministry and service. Lord's Diner Ministry The Christian Builders Class serves a meal monthly at the Lord's Diner in downtown Wichita. Some requirements must be met before servers are certified to serve, but this is a fulfilling ministry for everyone who participates. Contact Amy in the church office for more information.
Funeral Dinner Ministry Those involved in the Funeral Dinner Ministry make themselves available to prepare a portion of a meal for families grieving the death of a loved one. Funeral dinners are served usually around noon on the day of the funeral. Helpers are often needed to assist in set-up, serving, and clean-up.
